To Our Valued Customers,

I am writing to inform you of the upcoming challenges expected in the pool industry for the 2021 season. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the pool industry has grappled with unprecedented supply shortages, from building materials to chemicals to floats. The demand for pool products and services for swimming pools skyrocketed in 2020, and all major industry indicators are pointing toward 2021 presenting even more challenges.

Chlorine Tablets in Short Supply

One of the more troubling shortages expected in 2021 is chlorine tablets (Trichloro-S-Triazinetrione). Those 3-inch, slow-dissolving “pucks” that the majority of our customers use to sanitize their pools are expected to increase in price anywhere from 20% to 70%, and supply shortages are being predicted all across the country. We are doing everything in our power to purchase high-quality chlorine tabs in bulk and offer them at the lowest possible prices. Be wary of big box stores selling chlorine tablets at surprisingly cheap prices, these are very often full of chlorine that was manufactured 2 to 3 years ago which has lost quite a bit of efficacy.

Consider a Salt-Generatorchlorine salt generator

We are urging our customers to consider switching to salt-chlorine generator systems, or to be prepared to use alternative chlorine products such as liquid chlorine shock (sodium hypochlorite) or granular chlorine, such as sodium dichlor, both of which are expected to be more readily available through the season.

Schedule Your Pool Opening Earlyopen swimming pools

We ask that you please schedule your pool services (openings, closings, repairs, maintenance, etc.) early. And please bear with us should you encounter delays in service or lack of product availability.

We are doing everything in our power to ensure that all of our customers continue receiving the same great service that they have been accustomed to for the past two decades.

Thank you for your continued support.
